Lush Haul

These past two weeks every weekend I have been travelling to big shopping centres. It doesn’t matter to which one but in this post I wanted to share what I got while I where there.  And review, because I have them used for two weeks already. So I think I can say what I think as well.

First things first. So finally I got chance to buy some products from lush. I love bath especially in winter. Even my boyfriend tried some. Because there isn’t really special man bath bombs, but some scents’ was quite manly. The only thing I don’t like about Lush stores, when you go in you think that all smell the same, you can’t even tell the difference. But all things what I bought, when I came home really enjoyed it. So it wasn’t such problem.

My favourite lush product is The Melting snowman; the only downside is that it is Christmas product. I liked how good it smells and feels on your skin.  Only after using this bath product definitely you have to wash yourself with shower gel.
Website says: £1.95/Each
Our little snowman is about to shuffle off this mortal coil – but not before you get one last bath from him as he disappears for another year.
It is a short but glorious life that our Melting Snowman lives. He may not have long to go, but boy is he going to make a grand exit.
Exquisitely fragranced with a blend of oils containing vanilla absolute and sweet wild orange, giving him a deep marzipan fragrance with notes of rich fruit, reminiscent of Christmas cake and figgy puddings. Which means he smells exactly the same as our bestselling Snowcake soap?
But if it isn’t enough to smell of our most popular Christmas fragrance, he’s also got a body made of water-softening bicarb of soda, cocoa butter and Shea butter. This means that when the heat gets to him and he finally melts away, he fizzes those wonderful butters through your bathwater, leaving you soft and moisturised. What a way to go!
His legacy is your great skin – which means he lives on in the memory of all who knew him.

I bought:
  • Comforter: £3.99/200g
Website says: This isn’t called the Comforter for nothing. We threw everything we had at this one, to make it warming, comforting and reassuring. We wanted a bath that gave the same sense of safety and calm that your favourite teddy, your comfort blanket or a snugly scarf gives.
At times when you feel you need to protect yourself from the world - immerse yourself in this pink bath and allow the familiar oils to envelop you in a comforting berry scented embrace.
We wanted this bar to give maximum comfort, so we’ve made it twice as big as the other bubble bars, to give you lots of nurturing baths.
By using a solid bubble bath, you are eliminating the need for packaging on your product. Liquid products need preservatives, but solid products like this don't.  Better for you and better for the environment; what a comforting thought!
  • Tisty tosty: £2.99/110g
Website says: This ballistic is a love spell. Fill the bath, get in, and hold the ballistic in your hands whilst contemplating your chosen one. Lower into the water to unleash its powerful magic. Watch the seven rosebuds emerge from the swirling potion and count your way to a budding romance.
We find it hard to put into words how beautiful this ballistic is. We’ve vowed never to stop making it – try one and you’ll see why.
Jigglypaul says use this with an Amandopondo Bubble Bar to create a TistyPondo cocktail bath – beautiful, elegant and bursting with rose.
The original version of this Tisty Tosty love spell says that you should stir the water with a hazel wand.
We invented this for The Guardian newspaper, when they wanted a small gift to send to people to alert them to the fact that a Valentine’s message had been placed in the personal ads for them.  So we packed it full of beautiful, romantic ingredients.

  • Cinders Bath bomb: £1.95/Each
Website says: A ballistic to evoke sitting by a crackling open fire, drinking a glass of warm punch.
A real Christmas time ballistic that fights the chill and brings peace and comfort. Lie back, letting the water support your body, and listen to the fire as the smell of warm fruit punch fills the room.
Almond essential oil, sweet orange oil and cinnamon leaf oil give a smooth fruity scent with a touch of spice. It lifts the mind and lingers on the skin
We’ve also put popping candy in this mix, which gently crackles in the water, giving you a bath with sound effects. If you really want to hear them go, then dip your head underwater for the full cacophony.
Have a Cinder if you want to hide away from the big bad world and feel the warming comforts of home.  It is great too if you just want to blow away the cobwebs in your mind, or the dust and soot from your body.
  • Dorothy Bubble bar: £2.95
Website says: A blue skies thinking bath that takes you out of the monochrome and into a colourful fantasy, where the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.
This bath smells so great you might want to stay in there quite some time, so take a good book, a glass of wine and something to munchkin.
If you’re a friend of Dorothy and love this smell, then using our Figs and Leaves soap will leave you smelling the same from head to Toto. Click your heels and get yourself over to our soap page to buy yourself a chunk.
Dorothy bubble bar was invented by Michelle, but the fragrance she chose for it was one that Mark invented to sum up his memories of his Auntie Joy. She was a kindly aunt who used to bring him his favourite comics when he was a boy. Long after she had gone her perfume would linger on the pages of the comics. Mark wanted to capture that smell to take him back to those moments of childhood.
  • Amandopondo: £2.50/100g
Website says: A gentle bath for times when the world owes you a favour. Let the rose wrap you in a comfort blanket and the lemon lift your mind and spirits.
Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best – a bath of uncomplicated bliss.
This bubble bar was inspired by the idea of forgiveness - for those times when life is unfair or people untrue. We all know a bouquet of roses is a good place to start putting things right – so we wanted to sum that up in a bath-time experience.
At Lush we love trading with family businesses. We buy the rose absolute that we put into this bubble bar from a family in Turkey who have been growing roses and distilling their oil for over three generations. We’ve learned so much from their passion and expertise in the years we’ve known them.
  • Magic Wand Bubble Bar: £4.95/100g
Website says: A reusable bubble bar star that gives mounds of sweet-smelling foam.
This is a solid version of our best selling Snow Fairy shower gel for those who prefer to bath.
The magic of this version is that you can wave your wand under the water until you have the amount of bubbles you want – then you just stash it somewhere safe to dry off, ready for when you next bath.
We’ve included pink ribbon and a bell, because if you are going to wave your wand, then you need some added drama and special effects!
You should get several baths from this, depending on how much bubbly magic you want in your bath.  Each one will leave you smelling of candy floss and pear drops. Baths don’t get yummier or more girly than this.

Then happen that I got two things for free. They had box where I could pick them. I got bubble bar, which one was okay, not a big fan, but for free I enjoyed it. :) The second one is soap which smells so nice, that I am saving for special days. :)
I really enjoyed this shop. The womans were so nice showing and helping to choose. I really had nice first journey to Lush.

So I hope you enjoyed this blog post.
